Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones is a strong supporter of Dak Prescott and makes no qualms about his worth to the NFL’s most valuable franchise.

Prescott was enjoying the best individual campaign of his career 10 weeks into the season at the top of the MVP conversation before the wheels came off for the Cowboys, beginning with a 13-9 loss at New England on Nov. 24th.

Dallas has four of its last five approaching Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Washington Redskins, a team they must beat and hope the New York Giants take out the Eagles to clinch a Playoff berth.

Prescott is reportedly demanding $40 million annually on a new deal and is in the final year of his rookie contract that pays him $2 million this season.
