Cristiano Ronaldo was left red-faced during his team’s loss to Roma at the weekend after Roma captain Alessandro Florenzi scored the opener in a 2-0 win minutes after being mocked by the Portuguese ace for his height.

Ronaldo was heated when spewing out his height hate. 

Ronaldo appeared to retaliate by mocking Florenzi, who is 5 ft 8 in, for his diminutive stature, allegedly shouting “you are too short to talk”.

Shortly after the bust-up, Ronaldo apologised and hugged Florenzi yet that didn’t stop him from exacting revenge. He broke the deadlock minutes later.

He found the back of the net in the 79th minute.
