Crystal Palace had one of its best seasons in its 10 years of being in the Premier League and now with the summer transfer window, they’ll look to improve the squad. Palace players that will be at the next season include Joel Ward, Marc Guéhi, Michael Olise, Joachim Andersen, and most likely the star player Wilfried Zaha.

While players like Martin Kelly have announced their departure, the club is preparing bids for players in key positions. It’s going to be a packed summer for every Premier League soccer club so we expect to read new Crystal Palace transfer news every day. Keep reading to learn which players are currently rumored to be on Palace’s transfer list.

Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher spent the season on loan at Crystal Palace from Chelsea and impressed everyone. He has attracted interest from other Premier League clubs as well as rumors of clubs abroad.

With a current market value of £33 million, Chelsea would surely demand more than this if they were to sell the young Englishman. It’s this high valuation that will probably mean that Gallagher won’t return to Selhurst Park as a permanent signing. But, he could potentially spend another season on loan with The Eagles if he and Chelsea want that to happen.

Sam Johnstone

Crystal Palace FC is also reported to be closing in on the decision of signing the 29-year-old goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone. The three-time England international’s contract is coming to an end with West Bromwich Albion and so he’s available on a free transfer this summer.

He is a Manchester United graduate although he never featured for them and spent many seasons out on loan. He was a firm fixture in goal for West Brom though and would compete with Guaita for the number one position with Palace.

The Daily Mail rumored that both parties are in advanced talks and that if he does join, he’ll sign a 5-year deal at the club. He’ll be wanting to get back in the England squad so maybe he’ll want to go somewhere that is going to give him the number one shirt from the start.

Cheick Doucore

As the manager, Patrick Vieria prepares for a busy summer in SE25 and one of his main targets is the 22-year-old player Cheick Doucore from Lens. It is said that the defensive midfielder might be brought in to replace club captain Luka Milivojevic.

It has been reported that the Palace captain could be looking for a move away, maybe to Serbia or to his former club Olympiakos. The Eagles are said to be looking at a deal of £15million for the Lens midfielder and with McArthur, Hughes, and Schlupp able to play in that middle three he could easily gain a lot of experience. As well as from Kouyate if he renews his contract with the club.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

The Eagles are also said to be in talks with the Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. The 24-year-old player had moved to Manchester United in a £50 million deal from Crystal Palace under the coach Ole Gunnar Solsjkær.

He started most of the games under the Norwegian, but when Ralf Rangnick took over, he was replaced by Diogo Dalot. Manchester United will be wanting to get some of the money back that they spent on him if they do decide to sell and whether Palace will be willing to pay £20 million or more for a right-back is another story.

Plus, with the new Manchester United manager, Erik Ten Hag, only being in the club for a week he might want to keep the young England defender.
