A 17-year-old cyclist was taken to the hospital after having a giant piece of wood cut his thigh and impaled his chest. The large piece of wood was raised from the track after a collision between riders cause a pedal to hit the track.
The freak accident left the cyclist in surgery for three hours. The good news is he’s expected to make a full recovery.
