“My understanding is that these Dak Prescott extension talks, which Jerry Jones termed imminent just about a week ago, have reached a little bit of an impasse. It went from imminent, now, talking to sources, sounds like not much is doing and it doesn’t seem like things will happen for the foreseeable future. If you look at a possible reason why, Dallas has signed a lot of their key players to really long-term deals, Zeke Elliott the latest, all those offensive linemen are on long-term deals. Then, look at the recent deals quarterbacks have done it would make a lot of sense if Dak Prescott is holding out for some of those shorter terms deals to cash-in at a sooner time.”
