Business sports reporter (whatever that is), Darren Rovell, sent out a tweet calling the first round knockouts of Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg by Amanda Nunes “brutally damaging to UFC.” He claimed Nunes is not as marketable at the other two women.
Between Rousey and Cyborg, Amanda Nunes has singlehandedly killed the most valuable women in the sport.

UFC President Dana White caught wind of Rovell’s tweet and trashed it during his press conference after UFC 232. The rant, as are many of his rants is NSFW.

I’m going to have to side with White on this. Not just because he’s successfully built the UFC into a billion dollar business, but also because destroying two of the biggest female names in the history of the UFC with first round knockouts is probably pretty marketable in the fight game.
