D’Angelo Russell was Busted at the Airport for Hiding Weed in an Arizona Iced Tea Can

Brooklyn Nets point guard D’Angelo Russell attempted the hide the weed in a secret compartment in the Arizona Iced Tea can trick. 

It didn’t work.

The All-Star was busted at LaGuardia Airport on Thursday when TSA workers discovered the can in a checked bag.

Russell, who was flying from LaGuardia Airport to Louisville International Airport, was questioned by police after a routine search by TSA workers flagged what at first glance appeared to be a can of Arizona Iced Tea in a checked bag, a person with knowledge of the incident told USA TODAY Sports. Upon further inspection, the can had a hidden compartment where marijuana was discovered. 

Russell needs to step up his game.  He can’t find any weed in Louisville?  Isn’t that his hometown?  Everyone knows you can’t fly with marijuana.
