The Giants drafted Daniel Jones in the first round to be Eli Manning’s replacement.  A lot of speculation surrounding the team is the former Duke quarterback will get his opportunity sooner rather than later.  This may be the reason why so many people have bet against the Giants at online casinos using the special bonus offers they found at goldenpromocode.com.

That’s speculation by folks outside of the organization and it isn’t likely to be the case anytime soon.  According to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, something “wild” like an injury to Manning would have to occur for Jones to see action.

Raanan says he spoke to an unnamed Giants player, who said Jones is way behind Manning.

“I spoke to a player during minicamp several weeks back and he told me, ‘look, Daniel Jones’ arm looks great.  You see why he’s a high prospect and going to be a good quarterback.’  But he’s a long ways away.  He’s very far behind Eli Manning in regards to knowing the offense, being a veteran, knowing how to get everyone lined up and put everything together.  So, there’s not a real competition in regards to who is going to play in Week 1.  Maybe it’s just a competition of, okay, when is Daniel Jones going to be caught up?”
