Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon was the victim of an umpire looking for a confrontation.  After he was called out on a terrible strike call, he flipped his bat and started to take off his batting gloves.

The homeplate umpire Marty Foster removed his mask and headed towards Rendon.  Foster then threw Rendon despite the fact that he never said a word.

Nats first year manager Dave Martinez then earned himself an ejection.  Before leaving he made sure to get his money’s worth.

This umpire is exactly what is wrong with MLB umpires.  He should be suspended for his ridiculous ejection of Rendon.
