In the early morning hours on Saturday, after Game 2 of the Braves and Dodgers series, David “Big Papi” Ortiz was asked about the Braves’ chances to bounce back in the series.
Instead of answering the question, Ortiz pointed at Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod replied by reminding Big Papi that his name wasn’t Papi.
That’s when Ortiz said, “that’s what J.Lo calls you at home, Papi.”
A-Rod quickly replied, “no, Macho, Macho.”
Quite the late night/early morning exchange between the former rivals turned colleagues.
