Warriors center DeMarcus Cousins left Monday night’s loss to the Clippers with a quad injury. A look at the injury as Cousins left the game revealed that it was likely a significant injury.

On Tuesday, those fears were seemingly confirmed. Initial reports about Cousins’ quad injury aren’t great. According to NBA reporter, Chris Haynes, the belief is that Cousins will miss the rest of the playoffs.

That is a tough break for Cousins, who signed a one-year deal with Golden State at a bargain price, after he tore his Achilles last season with the Pelicans. He was hoping to re-establish himself following the major injury, win a ring in the process and cash in on the success in the off-season.
