The New York Jets will host Miami Dolphins in the NFL’s first-ever Black Friday game on Nov. 24, the league announced Wednesday.

The Week 12 matchup is set to air on Prime Video at 3 p.m. ET.

The AFC East rivals split the season series 1-1 last season. Both franchises will feature some new faces when they return to the field this fall.

New York has revamped its offense by acquiring star quarterback Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers. The four-time MVP is among several new faces, joining receivers Allen Lazard, Mecole Hardman, and Randall Cobb.

The Jets are hoping their offseason additions will help end a playoff drought that stretches back to 2010.

In Miami, All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey joins a secondary that also features Xavien Howard and Brandon Jones. On offense, the team is optimistic Tua Tagovailoa can remain healthy to spur the Dolphins to back-to-back playoff berths for the first time since the 2000 and 2001 seasons.

Conversations regarding an additional holiday weekend matchup gained steam after Amazon purchased the broadcast rights to Thursday Night Football. Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit will call the contest from the booth.
