Andrew Luck announced his retirement from the NFL on Saturday night, and droves of supporters came out to give their love to the 29-year-old, including the player drafted directly behind him, Robert Griffin III.

Now with the Baltimore Ravens as the backup to Lamar Jackson, Griffin was once part of a hot debate about which player was more deserving of being the No. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft.

Griffin, who also has seen a promising career derailed by injuries, gave his support to Luck via Twitter on Saturday night.
