The Saints are 3-1 and are currently sitting in first place in the NFC South.  They’ve been without quarterback Drew Brees since early on in their Week 2 loss to the Rams.

Brees injured his thumb and had surgery in the middle of last month.  He is currently expected to be out of the lineup until at least Week 10.

The 40-year-old provided a positive update on the injury and says the thumb is getting stronger every day.
