Dwight Howard and Kobe Bryant’s one season together as teammates didn’t go well. The two stars never saw eye-to-eye and Howard moved on from the Lakers that offseason.
Now that Howard has returned to Los Angeles, he and Kobe were on much better terms.
In fact, Howard had asked Kobe to help him out during the dunk contest and according to the Lakers big man, Kobe had accepted the invite.

That was of course prior to Kobe’s tragic death in a helicopter accident a couple weeks ago.
Despite patching their relationship up, Howard says he never got to tell the Lakers legend how much he appreciated him.
