Contract talks between quarterback Dak Prescott and the Cowboys are ongoing, but the two sides reportedly remain far apart.  The 26-year-old is coming off of a career year and is rumored to be seeking a $40 million a year deal.  

Former Cowboys legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer Emmitt Smith offered up some advice for the young quarterback as he seeks his new deal.  He wants Prescott to leave money on the table and sign for a hometown discount.
