The 76ers and Bucks took each other on in Philadelphia on Thursday night with home court advantage in the playoffs on the line.  The intensity of the game led to a first quarter scuffle and ejection.

It started when Bucks guard Eric Bledsoe was called for a foul after he shoved 76ers center Joel Embiid in the back.  Embiid didn’t care for the shove and tossed the ball at Bledsoe.

Bledsoe caught the ball and threw it as hard as he could at Embiid, drilling him in the chest.  The two teams got into a shoving match and Bledsoe ended up getting ejected for throwing the ball at Embiid.

The East is going through Milwaukee.  The Bucks won the game 128-122 and secured home court advantage throughout the playoffs.  Let’s hope these two teams play each other at some point in the playoffs.  There’s nothing like postseason basketball to reignite tensions.
