ESPN announcers Dusty Dvoracek and Mark Jones were seen celebrating a Miami Hurricanes touchdown during their loss to Virginia Tech. The touchdown came on a Hail Mary pass to end the first half.
An exciting play for sure, but when you’re in the broadcast booth you can’t be seen celebrating anything at anytime. If you are then watch out because the folks with journalism degrees are going to come out of the woodwork to take a shot at you.
In this case, Dvoracek and Jones were called out by Awful Announcing. Dvoracek responded to being called out and attempted to explain his side of the celebration.
