Is the ESPN backlash real?
ESPN Central Texas was vandalized this week, and the station was off-air due to the damage, according to program director David Smoak.
Friday afternoon, Smoak tweeted that they are up and running with local programming and it should continue throughout the rest of the day.
Smoak tweeted out that the station was vandalized and gave a description of the suspect and the vehicle. The suspect vehicle was a white BMW with a Longhorns logo on the back.
He said numerous wires and cables were cut Thursday.
Smoak said the incident had nothing to do with UT even though the car had a Texas Longhorns logo on the back.
