Recent reports are that the Cowboys are prepared to offer head coach Jason Garrett a lucrative long-term deal. Not everyone agrees with that move.
Former Cowboy Terrell Owens, who played for Garrett early on in the head coach’s tenure with Dallas, is one of those who doesn’t think he deserves a new deal.
T.O. took to Twitter to trash his former head coach with a series of tweets that places the blame for the loss to the Rams on his shoulders.
The Hall of Famer even sent a tweet to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones saying it was about time for a coaching change.
Hey @realjerryjones! Bout time for a coaching change don’tcha think?! 2 playoff wins in 10 years!! Garrett isn’t the answer & NEVER will be! Way to compete guys!! #realtalk

Owens probably didn’t enjoy the Cowboys losing, but he definitely enjoyed taking shots at Garrett. I can’t lie, I enjoyed both.
No worries. Still a Jason Garrett coached team. All is good Stephen A!! ???? https://t.co/kXX61IHvIu
