Florida State dismissed quarterback Deondre Francois from the football program on Sunday, just a day after his now ex-girlfriend released a video of a domestic violence incident between the two.

On Monday Francois entered his name in the NCAA’s transfer portal.  The move makes it possible for him to find a new school to play for next season.

There’s no word on whether or not the police are investigating the domestic violence incident on the video, but the ex-girlfriend is now saying the former FSU quarterback never hit her.

That’s not uncommon for victims of domestic violence to change their story.  The audio is pretty clear about what went down.

Francois had already worn out his welcome in Talahassee.  The domestic violence video just sealed his fate a little earlier.
