Former MLB pitcher John Wettleland has been indicted on charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child.

The 52-year-old is accused of forcing a relative to perform sex acts on him starting when the victim was only 4.

Via NY Post:

Wetteland, 52, who was the 1996 World Series MVP with the Yankees, is accused of forcing a relative to perform sex acts on him multiple times beginning in 2004, when the child was 4, according to Texas authorities.

This is extremely disturbing.  How do you go from World Series MVP to child molester?  That’s an unbelievable fall from the top.

Hopefully, if the accusations are true, Wetteland gets locked up for a very long time.
