Former NFL and Texas Longhorns running back Cedric Benson has reportedly died after being involved in a motorcycle accident.

Benson and a female passenger both died when a minivan hit the motorcycle they were on.  According to police, speed and poor visibility played a role in the accident.

The 36-year-old was the fourth overall draft pick in the 2005 draft by the Chicago Bears and played for three teams over 8 seasons.
