Former Michigan State University football player Malik McDowell pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges related to two cases.

He pleaded guilty to charges of assault and battery of a police officer, obstructing justice, operating under the influence of alcohol and driving with a suspended license.

He also pleaded guilty to receiving and concealing a stolen car.

The 2017 Seattle Seahawks second-round pick got into a verbal altercation with a cop that quickly turned violent when he refused to cooperate with one of the officer’s commands, a brawl ensued inside the convenience store.
