Former Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy went after referees following his stepson’s basketball game on Tuesday night.  He is seen following officials as they made their way off of the court.

McCarthy’s stepson plays for Notre Dame Academy.  They lost the regional high school playoff game to Pulaski High School by one point.

Via FOX 11:

FOX 11 has confirmed with Pulaski School District officials that former Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy was involved in an incident with referees following his stepson’s basketball game Tuesday night.

We’ve also learned a formal complaint about the incident has been submitted to the WIAA.

“This parent chose to follow the officials and berate them, which is clearly unacceptable,” said Janel Batten, Pulaski’s athletic director.

McCarthy knows all about losing playoff games.  At this point you would think he would know how to handle it.

But it looks like McCarthy’s still blaming the referees for losses.  We’re just glad he’s found something to do since being fired by the Packers.
