Former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi suffered another stroke on Thursday afternoon.  The 46-year-old ESPN analyst was taken to the hospital and is “recovering well” according to a statement released by his foundation.

Bruschi, having suffered a stroke back in 2005, was familiar with the signs of stroke and was able to get the appropriate medical attention.

It’s good to hear Bruschi, who suffered his first stroke during his playing days back in February of 2005, is doing well.  Following that first stroke, he had a congenital heart defect repaired and played through the 2008 season.

There isn’t any word as to what caused his latest stroke and the family has asked for privacy as he recovers.
