Rickie Fowler has never been one to shy away from bold fashion choices. And you can guarantee that within those choices, he’ll make a point to honour the people and the places that mean the most to him. Back in 2014 at the first round of the U.S. Open at Pinehurst No 2, he could be seen wearing a classic pair of plus-fours, a subtle nod to Payne Stewart. Fowler has never been shy about paying tribute to his idols.

Later, at the 2018 Sentry Tournament of Champions held in Hawaii, he rocked an untucked Aloha shirt in tribute to his surroundings. And for the past two years, we’ve seen Fowler honouring Arnold Palmer’s life and career with his choice of footwear and accessories. This year, the golfing legend is teaming up with PUMA Golf and Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation to create a unique range of golfing apparel that fans all around the world are going to want to get their hands on.

Throughout the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Fowler will wear a custom Arnold Palmer ‘P’ hat and a limited edition version of the IGNITE PROADAPT shoes. His caddy, Joe Skovron, will carry a custom stand bag designed by Cobra and Vessel. The entire look is fresh and fun, in contrasting white and green with the playful umbrella design.

The special version of the Puma snapback will be available in white, white/green and pink. They also feature the now iconic red, yellow, white and green umbrella logo with ‘P’ emblem in white, green or silver.

To complete the look, Fowler introduces a limited edition pair of the IGNITE PROADAPT golf shoes from PUMA Golf. This green and white pair of shoes certainly make a statement, with a bold green and red sole with a dancing umbrella pattern on the upper. The shoe also features a green PUMA formstripe and PUMA cat logo. The design doubles down on the umbrella design, with a bold pop of the umbrella design inside. It’s sure to be a popular addition to the PUMA golf shoes for men collection.

Continuing the theme, the limited edition stand bag offers all of the features expected of a tour bag with just a fraction of the weight. The green and white bag also features the Arnold Palmer umbrella and signature. It’s a powerful collaboration from Cobra and Vessel that is sure to be popular, both for its design and for its innovative technology.

If you want to get your hands on these limited edition items, you’ll have to move fast. A limited selection will be available from selected retailers, so if you’re like Fowler and want to show your respect for the legend that is Arnold Palmer, you’ll have to be quick. A small quantity of the snapback caps, stand bags and shoes will be personally autographed by Fowler and made available through the PUMA Golf online shop. All proceeds from the sale of these items will go towards the Arnold & Winnie Palmer Foundation.
