Many have looked at the Houston Astros cheating scandal as not being that big of a deal.  They only won the World Series doing it.  Obviously it’s a ridiculous take to say cheating your way to a World Series victory is no big deal. 

There are also consequences to players that fall victim to the cheating.  Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman got a little emotional telling one of those stories.

Freeman’s former teammate Kris Medlen retired back in 2018 after giving up seven earned runs against the Astros.  He had worked extremely hard up to that point to make it back to the MLB.
