Canadian tennis player Genie Bouchard isn’t new to her fans shooting their shot with her. The 24-year-old briefly dated a man who won a Super Bowl bet with her on Twitter.
During the Australian Open this week, a fan of Bouchard’s brought a sign asking her to respond to his DMs.
The bold move appears to have paid off. She saw the sign, posted it on her Instagram account, and with a fire and heart emoji said she would be checking her DMs tonight.
Another match made in social media heaven for Genie? We’ll have to wait and see. But it is another example of why shooters need to shoot.
