The NFL can’t quit Geno Smith. He somehow keeps finding work with teams who hope he never sees the field.
Smith has never lived up to the promise that surrounded him when the Jets used a second round draft pick on him back in 2013.
The former West Virginia quarterback is set to visit the Seahawks on Wednesday and is expected to sign with the team to backup Russell Wilson.
If Smith signs with Seattle it would be his fourth team in the last four years.
As of now, Geno Smith is set to visit the #Seahawks on Wednesday, source said. No contract talks yet, but a visit shows clear interest if everything checks out. https://t.co/uVUT0UhSqo

It’s amazing how some of these failures keep getting multiple opportunities in the league. Let’s hope Smith gets some playing time with the Seahawks next season.
