“Tyson has done enough great things for boxing. No more is needed,” the 71-year-old told World Boxing News.

He added: “He is in the Hall of Fame and was a mighty puncher.”

Tyson enjoyed a legendary boxing career.

He became the youngest world heavyweight champion, aged 20, when he beat Trevor Berbick in 1986. He then became undisputed champion in 1988 after smashing Michael Spinks in one round.
