Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas told a story of the time a Celtics fan called him the n-word after Isaiah Thomas’ incident with heckling 76ers fans.
Thomas went into the stands to confront a couple of fans because one of them flipped him off and said, “f*ck you, b*tch.” The confrontation led to the fans being banned and Thomas being suspended.
That’s nothing compared to Arenas’ encounter with a Celtics fan back in the day. The former Wizards star said heckling is part of the game and it’s all entertainment, even the time a fan called him the n-word.
