Receiver Golden Tate got paid by the New York Giants.  He signed a 4-year, $37.5 million deal with $23 million in guaranteed money.

The 30-year-old celebrated the big deal by recreating the “show me the money” scene from Jerry Maguire.

It’s a very timely reference.

It’s very true that Tate got paid.  He must have signed with the Giants just so he could recreate the “show me the money” scene.  He certainly didn’t sign with hopes of making the playoffs.

It’s a good thing Tate spent all those years in Detroit, because he’s used to collecting checks and losing.  He’ll fit right in with the Giants.
