Not celebrating 2️⃣1️⃣ quite like I planned, but still oh-so grateful for another trip around the ☀️! Full disclosure: I’ve been wishing for a Super Bowl trophy for my birthday for as long as I can remember. (THANK YOU, GOD!!)🙏🏼
THIS YEAR, I’m giving my birthday wish to all of those essential workers serving on the front lines, putting themselves at risk to keep everyone else healthy and safe. Thank you and God bless to those working in healthcare, police, firefighters, first responders, farm workers, truck drivers, those preparing food, grocery store employees, water and waste management, and everyone else working in the effort to combat and stop the spread of COVID-19. (And those who can and are staying home to make their jobs easier.)
————————————————————————-As I celebrate this birthday, I’m celebrating the beauty that can be found in our current circumstances. I’m inspired and encouraged by the outpouring of kindness and self-sacrifice for the greater good. There is light in the darkness and the light always wins. We are distant, but let’s be present. We are quarantined but be intentional. There is still dinner and laughter, games, music, birthdays and sunrise. There is still prayer and forgiveness. We will all get through this together. When it’s over, let’s carry with us some of the beautiful lessons we’ve learned along the way.🌎🕊
————————————————————————Last but certainly not least, HBD to my sister and “birthday twin” @AvaHunt
You’re the best present I’ve ever received and I love you to the moon and back. 💝🌙 🎂

Happy birthday to Gracie and many more as we look forward to several more playoff runs out of the Chiefs in the future.  Flip the Page to see a gift Gracie left for us:
