Before the Spurs took on the 76ers in Philadelphia, Gregg Popovich was asked about comments his former assistant and current Sixers head coach Brett Brown. His former assistant said he was the greatest coach the NBA had ever seen.
Pop responded in true Pop fashion by calling him a kiss ass, “He’s so full of sh*t. That’s why I got rid of him. Kiss ass.”

Who doesn’t love a grumpy old man? Pop’s responses are the best.
As for the game itself, the Brown led Sixers beat his mentor and the Spurs 122-120. After the game Pop explained what went wrong, sort of.
