Some in the NFL still believe Rob Gronkowski could be traded at some point.  They point out the fact that he hasn’t signed a restructured contract with the Patriots yet.

Via WEEI:

Speaking to Greg Bedard of Boston Sports Journal, one AFC executive said until Gronkowski signs a new contract, he’s available.

“Where’s the restructure of his contract?” ths AFC personnel executive said. “Until that’s done, I think he’s still available. I wouldn’t be surprised if Belichick is going to test Gronk’s buy-in with the contract.”

Gronk not signing a restructured deal is a little concerning if you’re a Patriots fan, who wants him to stay.  But if the rumors are true about Tom Brady threatening to retire if the Pats traded Gronk, then you have to believe that won’t be happening anytime soon.
