Retired Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski sat down for an interview with CBS News.  He was asked during the interview if he would ever let his son (if he ever has one) play foootball.

9Gronk said he would allow his hypothetical son play football, but only after educating his son on what he went through playing the game.  And what he went through was a lot.

The all-time great revealed that he had nine surgeries and as many as 20 concussions playing football.  No wonder he decided to call it quits.  That’s a lot for one body to go through.
