For NBA fans, this East Hampton, NY, home on the market will forever be known as the place that changed the face of the NBA. It’s the vacation getaway famously rented by NBA great Kevin Durant in 2016 for 10 days and $100,000. While summering in the Hamptons, the All-Star free agent listened to pitches from teams who wished to sign him.

He ultimately signed with the Golden State Warriors, in “a seismic decision for the league,” according to the New York Times

This house clearly put the Warriors over the edge. Now it’ll always be known as the Hamptons Five house. What an annoying nickname. If the Warriors keep winning championships, they should turn it into a museum.
