An Iowa-area high school football coach Jason Storm is in big trouble following an incident during a recent game for his Lincoln High School team.

After what appeared to be a dangerous helmet-to-helmet hit on the team’s quarterback, who is also Storm’s son, went unpenalized, he threatened to kill a referee.

Today the 44-year old former coach turned himself in to local police.

He has apologized for his actions as well.

Video from KCCI shows the play, and the consequent blow-up from Storm.

It definitely looked like a dangerous hit on video, but there is no excuse for his actions beyond that.
