A Dunbar High School football player is in some trouble after assaulting a referee during a game. With seven minutes left in the first half and his team losing 23-8, the player appeared to get himself ejected.
They had already been called for three unsportsmanlike conduct penalties in the game and the player was doing to get his money’s worth for the ejection.
So he exchanged a few words with the referee, then proceeded to headbutt him with his helmet. The referees called the game following the assault.
