2020 guard Tyler Beard verbally committed to Georgetown.
Beard, a 6-foot-2 guard at Chicago (Ill.) Whitney Young, picked the Hoyas over California, Maryland, Texas A&M and Florida Atlantic.
Beard is scheduled to visit Georgetown this upcoming week.
