What is going on in New York?

Just days after they fired their General Manager, ESPN’s John Clayton is reporting that the Jets could trade Le’Veon Bell before the season starts.

The NFL insider told Pittsburgh’s 93.7 the Fan that if they find a suitor, he could see a trade being made before the season starts.

“If there’s a suitor, I could absolutely see the Jets trading (Bell) before the start of the season.”

Does this mean the Jets have put some feelers out to see if there are any teams interested?  Possibly.

What the rumor does do is back up the story about new head coach, Adam Gase, not being happy with the Bell signing.  He is working as the team’s interim GM and has already made a move since taking over the role.

The Jets would be in full dumpster fire mode if they ended up trading Bell prior to the season.  Firing their GM after letting him handle the draft and sign free agents already has half of the dumpster on fire.
