Isaiah Thomas and Rajon Rondo had a back and forth battle at the end of the first quarter that ended with both players being ejected. It all got started when Rondo decided to throw an unprovoked forearm at Thomas’ chin.

That foul led to words being exchanged between the two. Shortly after that they were back at it, repeatedly getting tangled up, until they both Thomas and Rondo were T’d up.
The double technicals led to more trash talk and eventually ejections. Maybe they had dinner reservations to get to, it was Valentine’s day after all.
Or maybe the two were hashing things out after Rondo questioned the Celtics for wanting to pay tribute to Thomas with a video.
Rajon Rondo and Isaiah Thomas got into altercation during Pelicans-Lakers game tonight and both were ejected. It was their first game vs. each other since Rondo told me he didn't think Thomas had done enough for Celtics to honor him with a video tribute. Coincidence or not?
