Lakers guard Isaiah Thomas has some thoughts on the NBA Combine and he shared them on Twitter. He recalled his experience in 2011. Thomas crushed the combine drills and was still selected with the last pick.
Oh yeah. That combine shit doesn’t mean anything!!! I remember preparing myself and killing every drill & being at the top in every category. Still picked last! Don’t get discouraged. They can’t HIDE out forever. At some point the “top” guys gotta compete

That’s right kids, you too could be on your 5th team in 7 seasons. Just ignore the combine all together. I mean, why try if you finish at the top in every category and still get drafted with the last pick?
Don’t get me wrong, Isaiah has definitely played better than a last pick, but there’s a reason he keeps bouncing around. My guess is he’s not as good as he thinks he is.
