Penn State announced on Friday that head coach James Franklin has signed a six-year extension to remain in Happy Valley. The new deal keeps him on through the 2025 season.
There have been almost nonstop rumors linking him to other jobs this season. This deal might have come together to quiet those down.
Whatever the reason, it doesn’t appear as if Franklin will be going anywhere anytime soon.
