Actor Jason Momoa lent his celebrity to the World Rugby Sevens Series game action in Vancouver, British Columbia, Sunday, where he cheered on New Zealand’s All Blacks Sevens in their game against the Argentina Pumas at the BC Place.

Momoa took to Instagram to commemorate his attendance at the game, as he wore a throwback uniform for the New Zealand team in solidarity.

‘My first 7s tournament,’ the Honolulu, Hawaii native wrote on the social media site. ‘So thankful to meet the @allblacks7s and go on the field. Win or lose. I bleed all black. @allblacks Mahalo.’

The 6ft4 A-lister was pictured in a team photo mingling with the players at the high-energy sporting event, a fifth-placed semi-final match that the All Blacks Sevens prevailed in with a score of 26-21, according to NZHerald.nz.

The Game of Thrones star, who first appeared as Aquaman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and again in 2017’s Justice League, has been in Vancouver shooting the Apple sci-fi show See, according to the Daily Hive.

Momoa looks like he could easily play some Rugby.
