The Chicago Cubs are still fighting for first place in the National League Central. If they miss out on that they still have a shot at a wild card spot.
They might have to it without Javier Baez, who hasn’t played since injuring his thumb last Sunday.
It was revealed on Saturday that the thumb has a hairline fracture and he could miss the rest of the season because of it.
