The Boston Celtics aren’t exactly lighting things up in the Eastern Conference. Currently their record is 13-10, good for 6th in the Eastern Conference standings.

Celtics star Jayson Tatum was asked by Masslive.com what he believes is the cause to the early season struggles.

Tatum added: “Teams are coming after us and maybe we didn’t understand that fully. Nothing we can do about the past, just focus on each game.”

Last season without Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward, the Celtics played great, so most figured adding those to the mix would put them over the top.

Despite being sixth in the East right now, the Celtics have plenty of time to make a run at the top spot.

But they have some ground to make up.
