Red Sox slugger and MVP candidate J.D. Martinez is the latest baseball player to catch some heat for a social media post. The post is from 2013 and is a pro gun post that uses Hitler to prove a point.

Martinez addressed the post before Tuesday night’s 8-7 win over the Marlins. The controversy didn’t seem to have any affect on his play as he went 2-4 with a couple of runs scored.
Everyone knows you can’t use Hitler to prove a point, especially not one that supports guns. It’s only acceptable if you want to use Hitler to take shots at the President.
