Former NFL receiver Jeremy Maclin announced his retirement from the NFL during his wife’s baby shower over the weekend.  After getting cut by the Ravens and not playing the entire 2018 season, he decided to officially end his football career.

The 30-year-old Maclin played 8 seasons in the NFL with the Eagles, Chiefs and Ravens.  He took to Twitter after making the announcement saying there will be a letter and a video coming out explaining how and why he is retiring.

Maclin’s decision to retire seems pretty obvious, unless there is some sort of injury he suffered that hasn’t been made public.  Either way, enjoy retirement and growing your young family.
